Does Wattify provide its own charge cards or RFID tags?

No. Wattify does not provide its own RFID charge cards or charge cards to end users. Instead, you register your existing public charge card (e.g. from Eneco, DATS 24, Luminus, MobileCharger, NewMotion, Shell Recharge ...) or any generic RFID tag directly in the Wattify platform.

How do you register a charge card?

There are two ways to add a charge card or RFID tag to your charging site:

1. Manual entry — you type in the UID (card number) yourself. See How do I add a new local Badge / RFID tag to my installation?

2. Learning mode — put your charge point in learning mode briefly and hold your charge card against the station. The UID is read automatically and registered in the platform. See How do I use the learning mode on my charging station?

Which charge cards work?

Virtually any RFID card or tag with a unique UID can be registered:

• Existing public charge cards (Eneco, DATS 24, Luminus, MobileCharger, NewMotion, Shell Recharge ...)

• Employer charge cards or company badges with an RFID chip

• Generic MIFARE Classic / DESFire RFID tags you can buy separately

What about roaming charge cards?

A roaming charge card (a visiting charge card from another network) does not need to be added to your platform manually. It works automatically via OCPI roaming. The user pays their own network; you receive the tariff you've set on your charging site.
